Seeking compelling design in the natural world is a grand adventure for me. A large commitment to drawing and painting in my youth sharpened my focus toward abstract elements in nature. Like a drawing pencil or paint brush, my camera is a vehicle that has deepened my study and understanding of the places and things around me. I marvel in the geological diversity of my home in the Northwest; a living landscape of coasts, deserts, mountains and valleys.
